There's not much that hot led and cold steel won't stop, Kelly. I take comfort in that.
Does this mean you want me to call more at night?
I love the night too - the kids are asleep and I can finally relax (except when I hear "Mommy" at 2am and then I know I'm in trouble).
Since I have been working graveyard for a lot my career I also agree with this. There is something neat and peaceful about the middle of the night. It is very noisy but at the same time it is also silent. Not only is there different types of people out at 3am there is also different types of animals like coyotes, skunks, rabbits, raccoons and opossums that the normal world never gets to see. And when the shit hits the fan, it's the police that world calls. B.F.
