Today, Governor Rick Perry, refused the federal stimulus package. He said, "Texas can go it alone. We don't need all the federal strings attached." (Slow) Joe Biden told Texans that if they didn't accept the stimulus, they'd be on their own. Gov. Perry replied that Texas can take care of its own financial crisis if and when necessary and that the federal government could take a lesson from Texas on how to run a government.
