When I was a little boy, we often spoke German at home. The Christmas Carols (and Georg Friedrich Händel's Messiah) are best to me when sung in German. Call it a cultural thing, harkening back to those days when the world was still full of wonder.

I love choral music. This is a particularly good piece.
Makes me want to go to church to hear the choir. This sounds... it sounds like it's touching my heart is how it sounds.
You spoke German? Great stuff. Because we speak Afrikaans (mixture of Dutch and German), I can understand German but can't really converse.
Anyway, I hope you're having a wonderful festive season filled with good food and great company ;)
I speak American.
I understand some English.
