Political Rhetoric

Sometimes it's difficult to sort out the rhetoric in American politics. Today, we know that the government records ALL of our telephone calls and e-mail -- and it's flattering that they also read this blog. Yet that is somehow NOT a violation of a fundamental right to privacy?

I think making fun of the bamas (et al) hurts them more than anything.

I never poke fun at O'Bama.

Someone pointed out that 0bama should always be spelled with a 0 (zero).

If you converted the amount of time the government spent invading privacy into a dollar figure there would be tons more money in the budget. BUT it's vital the government keep up with us 'commoners', I use the term loosely because we're not all that common.
