This is an endorsement of JP Arms (LINK) in general and their Long Range Precision 07 rifle.

It's not a point-defense weapon, Darlin. I think you need a shotgun with an open choke and rock salt loads to sting but not kill.

Thanks LL, as it turns out I'm now chatting via email with the people I'm supposed to be taking the two courses with and they're cancelled. I wasn't notified of this and just found out about half an hour ago. They offered to reimburse my flight but what the heck, I've never been to Colorado before! I'm getting on that plane just the same but I sure hope they find me something to do there or you bet I'll need rescuing! lol
I want that gun! Then again, I, er, want them all...
