We're on a two-day count down to the stork bringing Liam James Markee into the world. My daughter, Heather, is living with me while her husband, James, is serving his country in Afghanistan. We are going to video stream the newborn to him as soon as Heather is out of recovery and back to her room in the hospital maternity ward.

Pre-emptive pardons are fundamentally unearned blanket forgiveness.

This photo puts a smile on my face, your daughter hasn't put on any weight at all except for baby, she's so blessed! That's fantastic she's staying with you while her husband is serving your country, and thank goodness for modern technology. That will be something to see for both your daughter and son-in-law, I've got a lump in my throat just thinking about it. How long til daddy is home?
All the best to your daughter, they picked a wonderful name for your new grandson. I'm looking forward to seeing the baby, please post photos as soon as you get a chance Grandpa!
Take care and try not to get too nervous taking her to the hospital. ;-)
Best of luck to Heather, and Grandpa.
Good Luck to Heather! I hope all goes well with delivery and that your new healthy grandson brings you much joy LL. Also hoping for your son-in-law's safe return home :)
Your daughter looks small!!! You make sure and tell her that! lol...
I couldn't imagine having a baby without my husband there. I hope he gets to go home soon.
James (son-in-law) is due back in April. So she has a long wait and so does he. Heather didn't gain much weight besides the baby up front.
