There is no comparison in the two commercials, none whatsoever. The Japanese one is hilarious, I want to be in the Navy after watching this! So does this mean I must join the Navy for someone to read my book and find it interesting? :-) The book I have yet to start that is.
I love a good laugh in the morning.
I'm sure it has to do with tradition, and um - culture, and stuff like that. Like, you know.
Part of me is happy that the Japanese Navy isn't a service of steely eyed killers. They were a tough bunch of guys sixty years ago before all their ships were set to the bottom.
