Walking in Winter

I spent the day in Pasadena and took a few photos. These posted are of my daughter Emilie, dressed for SoCal winter. Note the boots (suitable for snow drifts), the leggings and the coat to protect her from the cutting, bitter weather.

Emilie likes lunch at Green Street and  I have to agree that it's my very favorite place for lunch in Pasadena. She had a Diane Salad and a Monte Cristo sandwich. I made due with a Shrimp Taco Salad.

There aren't may pay telephone booths in Southern California - but they keep these for atmosphere because they originally came from England.

I like the Pea Coat. If she has one of the Navy’s from the 50’s or 60’s she could go nude in a blizzard and still be warm.

She looks gorgeous like all of the Lambert girls.

Your daughter should be a model, she's just that beautiful!

Now if I were to dress like this for Alberta winters, well I wouldn't be sitting here blogging, I'd be stuck in a snow drift half dead or worse yet... dead.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful young lady!

Darlin, are you suggesting that she looks a lot like me? You're right, of course.

LL there is a family resemblance, I'll give you that.

Very beautiful daughter you have there.

I have a pair of emu boots (like the uggs that she is sporting) but harly consider them winter wear ;) Nice enough for fall though. I'm thinking I'd look like I had gone mad in the same photo, being that I would likely be wearing shorts and a t-shirt ;)

Ok, stop it.

It takes me 10 minutes to put on all my layers to go outside right now.

I must have shoveled 40 times in the past 72 hours.

Un....fair.

Great Pics LL. She looks great... assuming she's in California, I can't believe its that cold. We've been having freaky weather here... one day its boiling hot and the next day its freezing.
