The Relative Value of Life

pro-life makes pro-choice possible.

There is something rotten about women lining up for abortions. Maybe if you feel that the unborn are not people/human/have a spark of spirit, etc., you can reconcile it. I can't. Once you start treating some life as if it has no value as a matter of law, the value of all life begins to diminish.

The most dangerous place for a black man in New York City is in the womb since somewhere around 60% of black pregnancies are aborted in The Big Apple. More stats here.

The New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene revealed that in 2009 48,627 of the 87,273 abortions in New York City, or 56%, were repeat abortions. 33,401 or 38%, were paid for by Medicaid. Your tax dollars at work.

Whose fault are repeat abortions? The pro-choice/pro-abortion lobby blames the faulty education system for 1st timers. If so, isn't their own abortion and contraception industry at fault for repeat abortions?

It's a sick society.

I would guess that the powers that be would rather pay for an abortion now than food stamps, 20 years down the road.

I've also heard that it's a deliberate attempt to "thin out" the black race because a disproportionate number of black people opt for abortions.

There is also the startling statistical fact that 85% of all negros born in America are born without a father in the home.

The possible solution to all of this is RESPONSIBILITY. But you'll never hear progressives speak about that.

The abortion culture, like you said, is to blame for the lack of fathers as well as the lack of life. Having an insight into the culture (...kind of like eavesdropping on personal conversations) I have learned that it is a sad truth that "premarital sex" is a lost concept, because there is no "marital" part at all in the inner cities. Their is no "family planning" because there is no family. Everybody is related to numerous half-siblings and cousins, which sometimes, and sometimes not, form loyalties for gangs and other criminal conspiracies.

The only hope is that generations of black Americans will realize what they are missing out on, and rise up against the forces that have been at work destroying and "thinning" them out...(while that will never likely happen) hopefully they will accurately target their anger.

LL the statistics are alarming. Personally I am on the other side of the fence, anti-abortion. I feel if you're old enough to have sex then one you think would know to use some type of protection.

As for premarital sex there, the messages mainstream society puts out are sickening if you ask me, and it just keeps getting worse by the day.

In addressing abortion, there are extra ordinary circumstances where I might agree, such as rape, which I sympathize with. How does one help others to understand that abortion is not a form of birth control? I have no bloody idea.

The world really is going crazy, it's getting harder to stay sane in an insane world!

Whose fault are repeat abortions? Well, that's an easy question to answer. I blame men who've got no dick control. Pardon my Swedish but that's the best I can do to sound polite. No DC. I'm not kidding this time.

Darlin - Making abortion the gold standard in birth control is like making murder the gold standard for anything. Wrong is wrong.

Grumpster - It's all about responsibility on all fronts.

I wonder what all these people who are lining up for abortions (and repeat abortions) have against contraception... sick world indeed.
