While camping in the desert, Emilie likes to use night-vision goggles to find her way in the darkness. The helmet protects her if she tumbles to the ground while wearing the starlight night vision gear, that provides a two-dimensional image of the world around her.
We spent the day running around the Anza Borrego Desert, inland of San Diego, California and had a good time. At night, the goggles came out.
