City by the Bay

I spent a couple of days at San Francisco and even though I expected the temperatures to be brisk, 100 F is not "brisk".

The City is always interesting.

A lot of evil queens lurk in SF.

So security is something I take seriously there.

And I'm home now.

More crime in the heat of summer, too. Good thing you were vigilant.

I usually keep my head on a swivel. Sometimes I am more vigilant than others. A lot of the SF street people are aggressive. Not to me -- but to girls/women who they think are vulnerable and may not be adequately protected.

That's insanely hot for us northern girls, it was 82f here today and that was super hot!

Glad to hear that you made it home safe and sound and came away unscathed, I'd miss your comments if anything happened to you. Do tell, are you allowed to carry a gun in SF?

Darlin -- It was 105F when I landed back home...

I don't usually comment on what I do or don't carry in the way of weapons here on the internet, but yes, I can legally carry a firearm in SF.

Geez, it's hotter there than here in Alabama.

105! That's way to hot for my liking.

Darlin, it is that hot outside. Everywhere has air conditioning so it's not bad -- and then there is a swimming pool. From inside the pool, (partially shaded by palms and vines) 105 feels mighty nice.
