El Vitral Restaurant - San Diego (a review)

I'm not one to review fine dining but I'm going to make an exception.  El Vitral wins 10 out of a possible 10 points for a great place to eat. The restaurant is located at 815 J Street, San Diego, California -- it backs up to Petco Park where the San Diego Padres baseball team plays. Reservations are required when the Padres are playing and they're advisable anytime.

Everything about this place is outstanding but the food is simply to die for. It oozes quality. For a full meal, plan for $20-$30 per person, but you definitely won't regret it.

The restaurant sounds good LL, especially if you're rating it 10/10. The price is reasonable, a decent meal here is at least that depending on where you go... and when he's taking me out I go! ;-)

Wringing a 10 out of me is almost impossible, but the place is amazing.

LL I figured as much, it'd be like trying to get a 10 out of me. I don't eat a whole lot so when I do eat I'm pretty particular especially when I go out. I also used to be in the hospitality industry for many years so the service had best be up to par as well. Awesome food and excellent service then maybe a 10, depending on the environment as well.

We could be restaurant critics, can you imagine that! I'd weigh 200lbs in no time at all! I'll stick to my books.

Enjoy your day!
