Changing Lexicon

Posited: The laws of moral and ethical relativism; all systems of cultures and thought are equal in value, steming from a perceived guilt from progressive people who believe that Western Civilization is the root of all evil to the exclusion of all else.
Example: Jamal was offended by me calling him a perverted black gay fairy, all stung out on crack. The politically correct thing to say would be that Jamal is leading an acceptable alternative lifestyle as an african-american homosexual who has the disease of drug addiction.

Political correctness is a form of soft tyranny.

Diversity is good, right? How about diversity of thought, diversity of ideas. Leftists can't stand when people disagree with them.

At times, some people try so hard to find a desired, politically correct word, the need for the word passes before the word comes to mind.
Goose. Swan. Friggin' DUCK!

Opus - Diversity is fine, so long as it doesn't interfere with the preconceived notions of the "progressive" crowd.

WoFat - I have other words -- that I use for the POTUS, and have to stumble through a few before the politically correct one comes out. So I know precisely what you mean.

I wonder what purpose do these new terms serve. They're not any less offensive - maybe even a tad bit more.

Who knew that after spending my life shooting guns that I'd become so visually oriented? Not I. Of course, back in the Civil War, when I first picked up a gun, we never had any inkling we should wear ear protection.

Oh, and liberals are developmentally delayed.

Hmmm now is a good time to practice being politically correct.

A sexually non-preferred new American sex care provider, who is a substance abuse survivor and I'm reasonably sure she is also a displaced home owner, has differently logical (or no) processed tree skeletons to be residing in America. HUH? lol

I can see my case files now and will be laughing as I think what would LL have said in this instance?

Sex-care provider is classic, I will start to use that today (work related...)
