Do you Belong to a Militia?

Check this link to determine if you belong. Whether or not you watch Fox News, it might be worth your while reading the article.

Are you a member of a Militia? What does the Department of Homeland Security consider the warning signs?

Keep in mind I'm not coming up with this on my own. It's simply an article.

I saw that part about Ron Paul bumper stickers. That is a crime? Yikes!

As a matter of fact, yes, I am in the militia. I run the website for the Virginia miltiia (click on my name to view it). I have two Ron Paul bumper stickers and I voted for Chuck Baldwin. I oppose anti-Second Amendment legislation and I'm concerned about the NWO and incremental globalism and socialism in America. I own guns and have a concealed carry permit.

Now, I also hold a Top Secret security clearance with the DoD and work as a defense contractor, and the DoD security folks know full well about my militia involvement.

The MIAC report has already been an astounding success. While it's a little embarrassing for Missouri state officials, look at people scrambling to point out that they support these various things but aren't militia. We in the militia are being alienated. There's a saying that goes something like this: Don't worry, oppressive governments go after the unpopular groups first, but they'll get around to you, too.

If the subject of the MIAC report were Jews, now would be the time to put menorahs in our windows and wear yarmulkes. If the subject of the MIAC report were blacks, now would be the time to vocally and visually support the black community. If the subject of the MIAC report were homosexuals, now would be the time to wear pink arm bands.

But the subject of the MIAC report isn't any of those groups; it's a different unpopular group--militias. Now is the time to visit www.awrm.org, find the unit nearest to you, invite the unit's coordinator to dinner, ask questions, and join up. That's how I did it some years back.

The militia is not what we're made out to be by mainstream media or fearmongering-for-donations groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Peace.
